I Fear My Relationship Is Inevitably Doomed, When I Go Off To College....?

My girlfriend will be a junior in high school when i go to college after next year, and i do not plan on going to a college near by, simply because their aren't any colleges that meet my wants/needs as a student, other than a college about 4 hours away. I've been in a long distance relationship, i doesn't feel like a relationship, and i have no idea what to do, because i REALLY like her. =(
