I keep asking this, but i want more then a few people's oppinions...?

so im 14 and my bro is 16 and my bros bff is 16. anyway, they r gonna b juniors soon and im gonna b a sophmore. so my bros friend has been txtin me non stop 4 about a month now. i told him tht i like him and he told me tht he likes me 2. anyway, he wont date me. he told my friend that he is afraid of my bro. my bro hads a thing for threatin ppl 2 stay away from me...but hes told me b4 tht his friends r allowed 2 date me. anyway, i told his friend tht he has 2 wks to give me an answer. he asked if he could have till july 28, when he gets back from vacation. i told him sure. my friends say hes useing me, but he swore on his life tht he wasnt and tht i wasnt gonna get hurt. i trust him. i want to know what he maybe thinkin of this entire thing and wht i should think. am i gonna get hurt like my friends say? does he really like me? or was he just saying that???
