Comparing Romeo and Juliet to "Survival of the Fittest"?

Honestly, I don't agree with you, but one idea you could pursue is that of Romeo and Juliet so carried away with being in love that they don't consider the consequences of what they do. They feel and they act on impulse but they don't think logically and they don't consider the future.
