Guns don't kill people, people kill people- What do you think?

Some people say guns don't kill people, but people do. And others have a LiTtLe more sense and say bullets kill not guns, but I'm here to correct you all. First of I want what you think for answers and, of course, which one provides the best argument gets the soft-witted ten points people beg for in their minds. Ok, guns don't kill people- wrong (I know you're thinking I'm wrong cause it's people that hold guns and stuff), because when you drop a gun, it fires, and when it hits someone they die. It's happened countless times. Now about the bullets kill term, I think that this is a little bit too much of a 'smart ***' remark, because everyone knows bullets kill, but guns are also used as whips, and that's an example of people kill people. It's still wrong though, some people die by guns with no bullets and no one else around them, this is typically an accident that involves a gun hidden on a surface higher than the victim's head (like that movie where a gun was hidden on the roof of a telephone booth) and when an earthquake or the victim is checking around, whatever the case may be, that gun is gonna hit him in the head and with any luck that gun will succeed in killing him.
