Best friends brother?

So I've been dating my best friends brother for 4 days now and my BFF keeps saying it's wierd and akward for her. She says he's all over me but all we do is hug and I know he's protective of me. We haven't kissed but when we do what will she say? How do I make her feel less akward? How can I help?
